The journey of life is one of losing and rediscovering ourselves. As I bade farewell to 35, it was apparent that I had lost pieces of myself and have been on a quest to remember who I am and rediscover the new pieces of me.

The weaponising of religion is a very dark and dangerous game that is played over and over again. Why would we do this? Why is acceptance of others as they are so hard?
We use so many extrinsic factors to put value on people. But we ought to be cautious because success – or lack thereof – is not guaranteed.

Belonging is a human need that so many of us are on the quest for, but know is not easy to come by. I share some insight into my own quest to find belonging. An ongoing journey and then some.

It still seems to shock people when they see black or brown people travelling for pleasure. And yet we do. There is a certain privilege that we do not get to have but it does not deter our desire to see the world.
